Refund Policy

If we can't finish your book

Sometimes the AI fails to draw a page. You'll see a Try again button and get an email, and our team is told straight away. If the book still isn't finished 24 hours later, we refund you in full automatically. If you made it with a book credit, the credit comes back to your account instead. You don't need to ask.

Digital books (PDF)

Because every book is made just for your child, we don't normally refund a digital book once it has been made. We will refund it if:

• a technical problem stops you reading or downloading it, and we can't fix it; or
• the finished book is clearly different from the preview you saw (for example, missing pages).

Please write to us within 14 days of buying.

Printed books

• Changed your mind? We wait 2 hours after you order before sending your book to the printer. Write to us within those 2 hours and we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
• Damaged or faulty book: send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it for free or refund you, whichever you prefer.
• Lost in the post: if your book hasn't arrived within the delivery time shown in your shipping email, tell us and we'll send a new one or refund you.

Not happy with the character?

Before you buy, you can ask for up to 3 changes to your child's character, or start a new book with different photos. If you're still not happy after buying, write to us and we'll work with you to make it right.

How to ask for a refund

Email hello@tinytaletots.com from the address you used to buy (or tell us that address), with what went wrong and a photo if the book is damaged. You can find your orders under My books.

We answer within 2 business days. Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually appear within 5 to 10 days, depending on your bank. This policy doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
