Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The service at tinytaletots.com is run by Tiny Tale Tots ("we", "us").

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18. You may only upload photos of a child if you are their parent or legal guardian, or have their permission, and you confirm this before uploading. Don't upload photos of anyone else without their permission.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to your email safe; anyone who can read it can sign in. You can delete your account at any time on the My account page, which also deletes your books (see our privacy policy).

4. How books are made

• Your child's character, the story and the pictures are made with AI (Google Gemini) from the details and photos you give us.
• AI pictures can have small mistakes, and the likeness will be a storybook drawing, not a photo. You see the character and a free preview before you pay, and you can ask for up to 3 changes to the character.
• We design our instructions so books are kind and suitable for young children, but please read the book before sharing it with your child.

5. Your photos and your book

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You give us permission to use them only to make your book, as described in the privacy policy, after which we delete them.

The book we make for you is for your family's personal use: you may read, print, copy and share it with family and friends. Please don't sell it or use it commercially. We may not use your book or your child's pictures for marketing without asking you first.

6. Prices and payment

• The preview is free.
• A new account gets 2 book credits, once per person. One credit makes one full digital book (with a PDF). More credits cost $4.95 for 1 book, $12.95 for 3 books, $19.95 for 5 books. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• The printed hardcover costs $29.99 plus shipping, which is shown before you pay, and comes with 1 book credit. If an order is refunded, credits it added that are still unused are removed.
• Prices are in US dollars. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.

7. Delivery

• Digital books: after payment we draw the remaining pages, usually within a few minutes, and email you when the book is ready to read and download.
• Printed books: once every page is ready, your book goes to our print partner Gelato. Printing and shipping times depend on where you live; we email you when it is printed and when it ships.

8. Refunds

See our refund policy. If we can't finish a book you paid for, we refund you in full automatically.

9. Fair use

Please don't:

• upload photos you don't have the right to use, or photos that are unlawful or harmful;
• ask for stories that are hateful, violent, sexual or otherwise unsuitable for children;
• try to break, overload or copy the service, or make previews in bulk.

We may stop a book or close an account that breaks these rules.

10. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Tiny Tale Tots running and your books safe, but the service is provided as it is and we can't promise it will always be available. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the book concerned. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, email you. The terms that applied when you bought a book still apply to that purchase.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Tiny Tale Tots is established, and you also keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live. If you have a problem, please write to hello@tinytaletots.com first; we'll do our best to put it right.
